Whilst I don't know if it'll be that much, I do think we'll spend more than £100 million, more than £150 million to.

We're gona be down playing the whole time.

After every signing, we'll say that's it. . . till the next one.

We will be spending, in my opinion, well over 300 million, as the owners will be well aware that KLOPP will be trying to strengthen his squad, as will POCCITINO at Chelscum. We need to maintain our gap above these two sh!t holes, and bring in at least 2 to 3 big names, as well as 3 or 4 solid role players.

Can't wait for that window to open, and watch Amanda and the Ruebens signing those bloody big cheques !!!!!

    Bring it on !!!!!

I think the people at the club is smart enough to use the local media to their own benefit - wich means hold back a little, not to inflate the price - and still show ambtion.

Figures of 100-150 million beeing reported is maybe in reality 200-250 million. Thats my guess.

We will know in about 3 months time.

I think we will know within 4 to 6 weeks at the latest, as Eddie needs to prepare the squad for a two-pronged attack on both the EPL and CL.
There won't be any of the FAT KUNT ASHLEY tactics of signing S H I T in the final week of the transfer window. Our owners have a mountain of money and can outbid the likes of KLOPP, ARTETA, POCCI and ERIK the SH!THEAD !!!!

Don’t know how much we will have to spend, think it will be more than 100M but way less than the 250-300M I’ve seen on here.

We’ll get hammered by both EPL and EUFA if we don’t comply with FFP, so we’ll spend what we can cover with commercial deals and minimum expected CL monies.

If we have any more wiggle room in terms of losses over 3 years (last I knew that could be put to 105M) then the owners might use that up… but we’ll not be spending 300M because no one wants another Man City in EUFA or among the EPL upper echelons, so we will not get away with breaking FFP rules without some pretty severe sanctions.

I agree, Ian. I don't think we'll go mad. UEFA have rigged everything in favour of the traditional 'big' clubs and they'd prefer it to stay that way so spending will be hard.

I'm sure our owners would like to, but they've gone about their business properly so far and will continue to do so. Around the £140 million mark is my guess. One or two 'big' signings and then 2 or 3 really decent ones, I reckon.

(still amazing, though, when you condiser what we're used to)

My friends who work with the PiF over in Saudi have told me that what they're hearing is that they'll spend whatever they need to now we're in the Champions League.

Also they'll make the finances work by signing the sponsorship deals.

That's good news! I'm assuming that whatever WE have to spend, LIVERPOOL, MAN UTD, ARSENAL and CHELSEA will have the same budget ?????

Can't speak for other teams I'm based in Qatar for the last 7,going on 8 yrs. I own my own Broadcast Systems Integration company. We're opening an office in Saudi for mu media company in Q3 to capitalise on the growing Saudi Market.

My buddies are working on the Neom project among other things in thr Kingdom. Not directly involved with the club but everyone talks.

The club don't have a financial ceiling. They will make it work. FFP is being used publicly to prevent clubs from inflating prices on us. Everyone at the club is playing down our financial muscle but we all saw they paid up front for isak and then went again for Gordon up front.

The new sponsorship deals will all be legit, satisfying the trumped-up rules the EPL brought in to try and restrict our spending power but will cover the major investment required to build the squad we need to sustain our top 4 statue next season whilst playing 2or3 games a week.

Don't need to worry about it.

Eddie will get the tools he need for next season

Thanks mate! Using Chelsea as an example, surely they have to spend within the same restrictions as us - WHY would they be gioven PREFERENTIAL TREATMENT ???? We have been in the wilderness for decades, whilst that filthy Russian oil thief, kept pumping BILLIONS of dollars for two decades into players with nobody mentioning jack sh!t about it!
