    Really sorry to hear that.

Thing is, yes, football can be peoples lives, their outlets, if you are ill its a distraction, its spending time with family, for some people with no one it is their family. That's why what the likes of Gibson did by trying to destroy a football club was utterly disgusting.

Thanks Mac and rA. It's slowly sinking in now - anyone know how to be a farmer?

I hadn’t actually said anything...it was mac and Sith...but I will now and echo their sentiments completely. Genuinely sorry, GP...had no idea.

As for mac and his 3 months of chemo/38 doses of radiotherapy...I’m fortunate to have avoided first hand experience, but from what I understand, via my eldest son and (more currently) one of my best friends, you’re a hero mate, nothing less and I wish you nothing but the very best. If anyone can beat it, you can...of that I’m sure.

Thanks rA, from my point of view all I can say is 'the bloody NHS is brilliant' and 'you keep your mucky paws off it Sunak and co'! Gits!

    Yes it is brilliant.
But it could be so much better, if funded more by the government and run more efficiantly by the trust, instead of the mess it is.

    Condolences GP.

Agree, my experience with the NHS has been exceptional. They have been brilliant for me.

To be fair we can criticise the government but had it not been for David Camerons cancer drugs fund I might not be here today.

Sometimes it makes you wonder what could be done if the world spent more on saving life and less on taking life!
