    Dinner parties?

Remember how popular this abomination was in the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s……friends dressing up and visiting each others houses for an evening meal?

Hostess trolleys keeping the main meal warm and a Wall’s Vienetta for desert.

Mum and dad’s house had a serving hatch from the kitchen through to the dining area and in fact, my in laws house that’s just gone up for sale still has one.

How pompous the aspiring lower middle class were at that time! 🤣

We used to do this with one set of my wife’s friends up until about five years ago but thankfully this has now ended.

    I miss the s e x afterwards though.

My regret was working 70 hours plus a week , didn't need the money but enjoyed the work and didn't like to let people down.
Should have listened to my wife , before it wrecked my joints .
