    Getting involved in football violence , it's over 40 years ago but I cringe now when I think about the way I was then .

    Luckily I grew out of it , I got a right pasting up at Boro , a proper kicking and it taught me a lesson , this is mugs game .

    Youth really is wasted on the young .

    I tried to tell my 8 year old "you don't know what you don't know"... he kind of got it I think.

    I had the opportunity while at uni to go and study for 3 months in Barcelona but I decided against going as I got a girlfriend, know my wife.

    I wonder what would've happened if I went!
