    Your biggest regret?

I think for me it’s not having travelled the world more when I was younger.

I didn’t have the confidence to travel in my late t e e n s and early 20’s as mum and dad never took us abroad, I didn’t have a passport until I was 22.

I honestly believe that if I’d travelled to Australia as a young bloke I would’ve stayed there.

Same with America, I could easily have lived there having experienced it.

This isn’t to say life would’ve been any better than it has been but I do wish I’d given myself the opportunities.

Regrets, I've had a few, but then again too few to mention...

Mine is similar Mick, I was so fixated at buying a property of my own when I was in my late ****s / early 20s that I worked my ar5e off to get the cash together. I studied at Uni and still worked almost full time hours on the side, I watched every penny carefully.

When when I finished Uni I had a full time job and then usually 1-2 part time jobs on the side at the same time, I would regularly work 100+ hours weekly. I look back now and can't believe I had the energy and the time, but I was so driven and fixated on what I wanted to achieve. In reality, that's the time in your life you should really be out enjoying yourself and socialising.

I'm financially comfortable in life now I guess, compared to most, and much owes to that earlier time in my life. But I sometimes think, maybe I should have just been prepared to work a few extra years as I got older and made the most of that time when I was younger. Its time you don't get back.

Biggest regret is my first marriage or as I like to call it ''The Oxbow Incident''. Married too young and had two children at too young an age so I was parenting while my mates were living it up and travelling around the world. Second biggest regret that my second wife who I have known for 60 years and been with for the last 36 years is not the mother of my two kids and I am not the biological father of her three kids.

My biggest regret is that I've lived a life that's afforded me far too many regrets to mention. Honestly, the list is practically endless.

Not to worry though, Artificial Intelligence will probably wipe us all out before we know it and no one will be left to give a flying fk about how we'd have done things differently.

Just here to reassure..... 🤣 .

Worrying too much about crap I can’t influence.
Interestingly an end of life survey of elderly folks concluded most people regretted spending too much time working.

I have the great fortune of being able to chat with a few people just before their death. To a man, all said the same.
On your death bed you give zero fcuks to shyte like regrets.
Most concluded the same in different words. Worry is a terrible thing many said cause it's pointless and that was their main agreement that they would have changed.
Truth be told, that is one thing they all seemed to agree. So reduce worrying and you will reduce your chances of having pointless regrets.
    Regret nothing.

It would be funny if an old school mate and Albion fan posted on here.

His mum came home early one day when he was 15 and caught him w a n k I n g in front of the dressing table in her underwear!

He was over 6 feet tall and already had a beard at this point!

I pass him occasionally as I drive by my mums, he’s a pale shadow of his younger self.

    The phrase….” W a n k I n g yourself to a standstill” very much comes to mind.
