It's a diametrically different situation to any of the summer windows under the fat man.
As a wiser man than I said above right team in place behind the scenes to get the players we need in, money in the bank to get the deals done & the commercial deal signed and sealed to cover the cost of the incoming quality required to assure our top 4 status beyond the upcoming season.

This window is the start of a new era. The last one was successful and exciting but I'm sure none of us believed that the next one would be building for an assault on the Champions League rather than just buying to improve the squad and to establish us in the top half of the table.
Onwards and upwards as rapidly as possible.
