Both non starters imo Alfie, more chance of BT voting Tory than Hazard signing for us, and we might start talking to Chelsea at £10 million or so, but there's no way we'd go even close to £20 million.

I think it’s paper talk the 20 million figure Sinkov , and I’m sure with respect to Ian that VK will have his little black book of full backs names for considerably less cost to Burnley who can do a job for us next season.

I’d like maatsen tbh as i think he’ll develop defensively and become a real top player.

Everyone seems to forget that Charlie Taylor is an excellent left back, history already shows VK will not sanction ridiculously inflated fees for any player with the possible exception of Lyle Foster. A back four of Roberts, Beyer, Ekdal and Taylor is more than good enough for the EPL.

I'm sure you're right army, either the journo has made it up or he's been prompted by Chelsea to put that figure out there and see what reception it gets.

Just have this feeling mon ami that Vinni is not overkeen on Charlie, he seems only to pick him as a last resort. Whether he has a future under Vinni, only Vinni knows, but if I was Charlie I wouldn't be planning any extensions on my house.

I'm wondering if he is going to be used as click-bait in the transfer merry-go-round mon ami.
