So aging crocks are going to Saudi for a last big pay day, instead of China or USA, I don't see the problem, good luck to them.

It's when the BIG bucks are being offered to the likes of Rashford, Grealish and Zaroury when the $hit will hit the fan, and it will mon ami.

We need to hang onto Charlie, experienced at PL level, can cover CB or full-back, wages no problem, knows the system we play, if we lose him we have the problem of replacing him, why make a problem where none exists, Vinni has enough on his plate without having Charlie to replace as well. In fact I'd be looking at extending his contract and keeping him happy.

The Saudis are realists, they know they can only attract the sick, lame and lazy superstars. If they could get the likes of Rashford and Grealish to sign for them they'd be doing it now.

They offered BIG bucks to Messi, he's gone to Miami. Why do people get so uptight about camel drivers with more money than they know what to do with ?

The Saudi money is driving a huge wedge between the PGA and professional golfers across the globe, their money will contaminate global professional football, it just will.

Ah yes, that squeaky clean, paragon of virtue known as global professional football, we wouldn't want that to become contaminated would we ? You have heard of Sepp Blatter and FIFA haven't you mon ami, to name just two. No good worrying about the stable door now, that horse bolted long, long ago.

You just hit the nail squarely on the head mon ami, corruption is endemic in global football. The Saudis will simply make it a whole lot worse.

A World Cup in November in Qatar, facilitated by bribes and corruption right at the top of FIFA. It can't get any worse. And what's more, everyone knew about it long before it happened, still happened though. The game is gone beyond recall.
