I know deep down you are a secret Bury fan first and foremost before the Barstewards. 😁👍. Its great to see Bury back at Gigg Lane,it's long overdue..Hope they can make forward strides now. No doubt you will be watching them along with Rovers this coming season ?

I will openly say that mate, I was born and raised in Bury. My Grandad was a huge Bury fan and worked for the club aswell. As a kid my first 5 or 6 years where watching Bury down in Div 4 and then Div 3 in the mid to late 80's.
My Dad lived in Blackburn and would take me to Rovers games, the older I got the more time I spent with my Dad over in B/Burn and I watched them more, then around 91 when Kenny came in, it was just a very exciting time, being 15 I was swept up in it all. My Grandad was really upset and still took me to Bury games, but never quite forgave me. Then several years later they folded. I feel my heart calling me back to Gigg Lane.
I feel its massively important to have a football club back in my town where I was born. Its very important.
130 years of history can't just disappear. I feel most towns & cities in the UK are identified by their football team. So it is a huge day to have our club back.
I am also unable to just cast aside my love for Rovers. So I feel quite torn and want to support both best I can.

The important bit is Bury FC are back playing at Gigg Lane from next season, so the climb back up the leagues back to league football begins here.

Yeah, it was a tough one to take at the time. But after a long drawn out big time falling out between AFC Bury and Bury FC they finally all voted in favour and a return to Gigg Lane is finalised. That was the important bit, and of course the name. They had to get it back to Bury FC. They have a long road back, but are already on their way and with the games now back at home, they will generate more money and hopefully start to rise up back through the various leagues and back into league football where they belong. I am hoping they play Burnley & Rovers in the pre-season at Gigg and start to get some money in.
