    Fixture Release Date – Thursday 22 June 2023, 9am
Start Date – Saturday 5 August 2023 (with a likely live game on Friday 4 August)
    Carabao Cup Round One – w/c 7 August 2023
Carabao Cup Final – Sunday 25 February 2024
    EFL Trophy Round One – w/c 4 September 2023
EFL Trophy Final – Sunday 7 April 2024
    League One Play-Off Final – Saturday 18 May 2024
    League Two Play-Off Final – Sunday 19 May 2024
    Championship Play-Off Final – Sunday 26 May 2024

We started pre-season on Friday July 1 last season for the August 6 start. So, Fri June 30 this year? The EFL started at the end of July last season, so at least we missed that nonsense.
And the League Cup draw is usually the day before the league fixtures are released so that might hold some extra interest for us this year…

We’ve signed an extended agreement with PUMA which will see them continue as our official kit partner for the next five seasons.

Following a thorough tender process, the global sportswear brand will manufacture and provide our replica kits, training wear and leisure wear until the end of 2027-28 season.

Our head of commercial, Jordan Worthington, said: “Since we first teamed up with PUMA ahead of the 2017-18 campaign we’ve seen ever-increasing sales, so we’re delighted to continue our partnership into the foreseeable future.

“We’re currently working with PUMA on the release of our 2023-24 kits, which we expect to take place in early July. We’ve placed our highest ever order of stock for the new designs and can’t wait for our supporters to see them.

Seems a bit of a pointless statement that could have waited until the kit launch surely? Are they just toying with the twitter population who's wanting signings?
