Up to now, I have £50 @ 4-1 on Doncaster Rovers being promoted.
Reflecting on last season, I had the following for outright winners of their leagues:
Man City
Burnley
Weds - Bottled it and let me down!
Leyton Orient
Not bad getting 3/4 so I thought I'd go for for it again. Modest bets indeed using only £1 on each.
This coming season, Sky Bet are paying out on four places in the Championship, League 1 and 2 so I thought i'd mix it up a bit.
First bet to win their own leagues, I've gone for:
Potential Returns: £1,481.20 for a £1 bet.
Manchester City @ 8/15
Win Outright
Premier League Winner 23/24
Leeds @ 6/1
Sky Bet Championship Winner 23/24 - Paying 4 Places
Derby @ 5/1
Win Outright
Sky Bet League One Winner 23/24 - Paying 4 Places
Doncaster @ 22/1
Win Outright
Sky Bet League Two Winner 23/24 - Paying 4 Places
.................................................. ......................................
2nd bet is:
Potential Returns: £2,520.00 for a £1 bet.
Arsenal @ 7/1
Win Outright
Premier League Winner 23/24
Leeds @ 6/1
Win Outright
Sky Bet Championship Winner 23/24 - Paying 4 Places
Barnsley @ 9/1
Win Outright
Sky Bet League One Winner 23/24 - Paying 4 Places
Wrexham @ 7/2
Win Outright
Sky Bet League Two Winner 23/24 - Paying 4 Places

Just had a re check on the bets for League 1 paying 4 places for promotion.
I originally had £5 each way on Donny to get promoted at 4/1.
It cost me a 57p loss to cancel the bet as I see they've now been pushed out now to 18/1 so, I've taken that bet as I feel they've recruited well close season and have a good Manager at the helm. Oh and Captain Fantastic is in their back line
Liverpool
Leicester
Bolton
Stockport.
Arsenal

Charlton
Doncaster
Bet Fred - My bet on Doncaster Rovers gaining promotion 2023-24 season.
My bet Doncaster Rovers to gain promotion from league Two for this season,
in June 2023 I put £50 @ 4/1 for them to gain promotion.
With results going against them during the season up to March 2024, I never
looked for my bet on my account.
With the turn of fortunes for the club, last week I went into my account, no
sign of my bet, so last week I contacted Bet Fred on the chat line, to which a
advisor said i had cancelled my bet, to which I said, I had not, she said she
would look into it, after I gave her my bet receipt number, & when the bet was
struck.
Being that the Bet Fred website has changed its format, I said it could be that.
After a week of hearing nothing back from Bet Fred, 3 days ago I sent a e-mail
to Bet Fred with my account details, plus bet receipt number.
I said with the change of the website format, my bet had been cancelled.
Just now I have checked my account, & the bet is showing up on My Bets section.
So sorted.
ELK, well done keep your eye on these feckers, they’ll do owt not to pay out.
On the subject of gambling congrats to Harry Cobden for winning rhis seasons NH jockeys title that takes close on a year. Willie Mullins should clinch our NH trainers title today with his low number of winners compared with the other trainers but it goes on prize money won which he's gained mostly late season starting with the Cheltenham festival.
