    Oh Andy, Andy.

Andy Robertson was given MBE for services to football, and charity for young people by the Prince of Wales at Windsor Castle yesterday. Well done young man. This prompts the question, have there been any other people with connections to United that have been given an award?

In 1960 Neil Paterson, United captain in 1936/37, won an Oscar for his screenplay of the 1959 film Room at the Top.

No disrespect to Robertson but I despise these phucking honours lists. Relating to charities - thousands of people give up their time, some for years on end, then along comes some "celebrity" who decide to lend their name to the charity and end up being honoured. These charities would be absolutely screwed without their volunteers.
