Annual squad thread

Not an easy one knowing best positions this year so below is my take on it. Does give a good idea on numbers though. I’ve not included Munakandafa or Mohovo as can’t imagine they progressed enough over the summer to be first team. Squad is looking strong with plenty of depth even at this stage on pre season. Personally I’d like to see another defender. Worth noting no loans which is my preference.

I think we need another centre half and another central midfielder. Very little cover if Palmer or Baldwin are out for any length of time.

Could be a case of finding one player who could play both positions if needed. We definitely need another centre-half for the numbers game, but I think Kyle Cameron could do a defensive midfield job if we needed him there. He's good enough on the ball to play at least three positions.

With Brooks likely to go out on loan again, that’s only 21 players, so I don’t think we’ve finished with new signings yet. There’s room for another defender and possibly a player that Radar have spotted who isn’t ready for League 2 yet, but who has potential if coached in the right way. Bearing in mind the recent change in the regulations, these might be coming from abroad.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see 2/3 loan signings.

That's already a strong lineup... wouldn't be surprised by another defender though.

And I still think losing Rodrigues sucks.
