Loved Mom's rice pudding after Sunday lunch, always a fight as to who would scrape the bowl when finished.

Can't beat home made rice pudding-even the skin! Even better if made particularly creamy (though maybe not so healthy!&#128512.

Hated the tapioca stuff we were served at school but always liked rice pud-even enjoyed the Ambrosia tinned one with sultanas eaten cold and those Muller rices are ok too. Not a patch on home made though.

Rice pudding with the skin on and tapioca pudding was a treat round my grans, think she may have used sterilised milk? Not even sure that exists now?

We used to fight for the burned skin Dave, and to scrape the burned edges off the cooking pot as well.

My dad also loved baked apple, cut out the core, fill with brown sugar and then oven bake.

Always with a cooking apple though.

Then served with evaporated milk, delicious.
