Most fans know Juventus got their black and white stripes from Notts County. However, I was surprised when a couple of AC Milan fans told me the founder of their club was a Nottingham man.

Yeah, it's the reason they are called AC Milan with the English spelling of the city and not the Italian Milano (probably spelt it wrong!)

Yeah, it's the reason they are called AC Milan with the English spelling of the city and not the Italian Milano (probably spelt it wrong!)

I thought they played in red and black stripes because of us and Forest. Is that just a coincidence?
