So we are talking about 'losing' one year's salary having to be paid up. Compare that to the further losses to the club staying down and it pales into insignificance. The difference between a second year down and bouncing straight back up is huge so it comes down to whether you think Goodwin is the man to get us promoted. Imo he most certainly isn't, in fact I think the man is clueless, doesn't have an eye for a player, is tactically naive and out of his depth. Hence my view that he should go now before he does any more damage to our club. If you think otherwise i.e. we should persevere with him then you are perfectly entitled to your view and I hope that you are proved correct but think you will end up disappointed.
I don’t think we have any alternative than to persevere with him.
You can’t sack a manager after one game into the new season.
    Horrendous as that game was.
There certainly won’t be any money in the kitty to pay him off.

If you are sticking up for that lot then you need to smell the coffee , have you forgot Celtic at home ?? Alkmasr away ??? Ross County away ???? The list is endless , would rather have lesser quality giving there all than that bunch of wasters downing tools .

    Today’s thoughts -

That was FEKING AWFUL yesterday. No sign of improvement, actually worse and that’s saying a lot.

Wee Cudjoe trying his best and the boy Grimshaw was ok although I’ve seen others no happy at all with him. Keeper is an improvement.

We all have to remember it’s very early days , yes I know !!!, hopefully things will gel and improve. Couple of good strikers would help.

Not hopeful at all for the season though.

Called it. We are a shocking football team and the chairman needs to get that cheque book out ASAP.

Won't happen. He refused in January and he's refusing now, going by the quality of players we have signed.

The man doesn't have a clue how to run a football club and certainly doesn't have a clue how the fans actually feel about the club. We are in a bad way and it won't be getting better any time soon unless we sign some quality. I won't be going to watch that team this season. **** that.

It is all very well saying we need to sign strikers but where is the creative midfielder we have been crying out for the last three seasons? Levitt was good but he was sitting in front of the centre-halves which was no use.

Having friendlies behind closed doors does no one any favours. Seeing the team for the first time yesterday in a competitive game was a shock, how much poorer we have become, which takes some doing after last season.

The league is over a course of a season. We might get our act together and surprise everyone. We need to get some free agents training with us getting them fit and offering short-term deals to add creativity, pace and goals after the closure of the Transfer Window.

Yeah but we had 20 shots, 6 of those on target yesterday. We need someone to put the ball in the net.
