I was at the other end, I didn't get a sense of much toxicity in the support today i have to say, though I'm sure that isn't far away, felt a bit more like here we go again, why did we bother.

just got it sent to me there on whatsapp, really poor from the fans to be fair, f uck me its a cup game that we will never progress in (lets be honest) nae excuse for the day but i never seen anyone shouting like that at players when we were relegated, players were clapped aff ffs
pished up fans have paid their money and entitled to voice opinion but i think they've over stepped the mark here

Sounds like a minter, probably guys who the close season is difficult and a long wait without Utd and have fed on too much of the rumour and negativity over the close season on the back of relegation
Seems a very quick turn around tbh, I easily could have waited another month or so before hearing about upcoming games and the restart so we could properly reset

close season is far too short for me, it actually takes away some of my enthusiasm, used to be with a proper break, by the time the season came round again I was absolutely buzzing for it, now it feel like yesterday were losing to Motherwell last game of the season. I like having the break from football and time to do something different with your weekend. Football overkill if you ask me now. But speaking to a lot of football friends they seem to hate the gap between seasons however short.
