    Trevor Francis R.I.P.

    Hard to believe Trevor's gone at only 69 years of age.

    Very hard to believe. The fact that he kept fit during his career, and probably ,after he finished playing, seems to count for nothing. Great player, great person on and off the field and only 69 years old. That’s the tragic part.
    Made his Birmingham City debut at Ninian Park in 1970. I was almost 17 then, and pretty sure I was at the game, looking at this future superstar. A great loss to the game, and this instance gives you a different view of life, as you get older.

    I remember him making his debut for Brum as a fresh faced 16 year old kid. RIP Trevor, even if you did play for Florest
