    Palmer

West Brom have accepted an offer from Luton Town for goalkeeper Alex Palmer ahead of the new season
If true this is a disgrace, Griffiths no1 with that joke of a footballer Button as no 2, we deserve all that is coming to us, pathetic

    Losing players to Luton FFS.

This had better be a substantial fee?

Miles should resign on Monday if he has a shred of dignity.

You could’ve got any fan to negotiate this transfer and they’d have got a far bigger fee than this.

This fee is a disgrace, our management and CEO are an embarrassment to the club and themselves.

    Pitiful excuse for men!

I wouldn’t have thought we would have wanted to lose Palmer. Griffiths didn’t have a chance with the 4 goals he let in today. Still, I would be happier with Palmer.

How many more are likely to go? we probably need to raise at least another 5 Mill, the way we conduct transfers that could be half the squad.

Just read that no agreement has been finalized yet. Corberan commenting that it's " not ideal" timing (no Shi t!) but that he is " not involved in the negotiation process". Can see how PL would appeal for any player but just leaving us with Griffiths as an experienced keeper is crazy. If he goes its going to have to be for a lot more than the amount touted and we will still need to get someone else in pretty quick as replacement.

Shows how we have fallen as club since Lai took over. Now even Luton come asking and we jump. We are getting relegated this season …. And deservedly so …. the sooner and harder we fall the sooner we get rid of Lai. How much of the transfer money for O’Shea, Palmer etc will be spent on new players …. Answer Zero … FOL

I was at Bolton and losing Palmer is a huge huge mistake!! Five million FFS! Griffiths has very little presence and defenders look nervous with him in goal! Not a patch on Palmer by a country mile!

Same old same old today! Bolton at times were quicker and much more comfortable on the ball.

Ajayi - Kipre and Furlong will be carved open and then you have Griffiths in goal!

Even a few Bolton fans in the pub thought we lacked quality! They were right!

PS - Swift does very little!!
