Worryingly similar to many of last season's games, where we had a lot of possession and chances but failed to convert most of them. The one goal we did manage to score was quite soft. We need to find someone (or several people) who can put the round bouncy thing into the netty thing or it's going to be a painful season. Not only did Bamford go off injured yet again (hands up anyone who is surprised by that) but he even managed to get James's impressive finish ruled out because he scratched the goalkeeper with his little finger.

Started the game with Cooper, Struijk, Ampadu, Hjelde. That's 4 centre backs. Ayling started his career as a centre back. So Farke started with quite a few centre backs. Practically half the team.
