One positive then, at least in the hat for the next round unlike the 3 local teams I mentioned who managed a clean sweep of defeats. The MM curse is obviously wide reaching

Almost the anti-curse with a 5-0 win to Barnoldswick (Barlick to their friends). Their prize is a trip to FC United of Manchester on September 2nd in the proper First Round Qualifying with the winner taking home 2,250 and the losers just 750 or the equivalent of a couple of minutes work for most Premiership players.

Friday night bump for the brave souls of Barnoldswick Town as they make the trip over the Pennines tomorrow to tackle FC United of Manchester and the MM FA Cup curse in the first qualifying round. It's a big step up but good luck lads!

Unfortunately the Sewer Army can't overcome the curse a 3rd time and lose 1-0. Who will FC United of Manchester face in the next round?

I’m surprised it wasn’t on tv with it being a Manchester club.

FC United have been drawn at home against Warrinton Rylands (not to be confused with Warrington Town) in the 2nd round of qualifying. At last reports, Rylands were owned by Wayne Rooney's (former?) agent Paul Stretford. The Reds will play The Blues on Saturday September 16th.
