Are you referring to the one with the defender and Motherwell keeper? I may be wrong but is it not a dead ball when in the keepers hands
and therefore no foul committed? As i say i could be 100 per cent wrong on this.

I think ball is in play so penalty.

If say the keeper has put ball down to take goal kick and CB decides to do a wee juggling act with the ball it's not a pen as ball isn't in play.

Although the ball is in keepers hands I still think that's classed as ball is in play as the ref hasn't stopped the game

Another thing I was wondering, this wouldn't automatically be checked by VAR but if a Dundee player had seen it, claimed for it and made a bit of a fuss would it have then been checked?

Good point, not sure the players actually have the right to ask for a VAR check but it would've possibly caused VAR to look if the referee passed the message to them. However, nobody saw it.

Although I'm no fan of VAR it's probably worth claiming for absolutely everything.

Look long enuf you find something.

Imagine being a goal up in Glasgow ten to go I think rangers/Celtic players claim for every challenge, ricochet or block in the box.

I think VAR favours the bigger clubs.
