    Livingston v Aberdeen

I really like the start of a new season. Everyone has the same points, we have a fresh new squad, and you can't beat the smell of newly mown/hoovered pitches. So much optimism as well.

I fancy us to win 2-0 on Saturday.

Optimism usually lasts until the first refereeing decision.

All pitches should be grass, at least in our top league.

If you cannot afford to have grass then fück off down and play with the Dundee Uniteds.

Good Red TV interview with ‘Rubi’, as our new Serbian centre back likes to be known.

He’s a big lump of a loon, and from the footage of him training and his own assessment of his style of play, he’s the antithesis of John Inglis. This is A Very Good Thing.

That also does mean, however, that he’s likely to attract referee, linesman and VAR panel attention, and that of effète, diving, conniving “there was contact ref” fannies in opposition.

A yellow in most matches, no doubt, interspersed with zealous Collum and Beaton reds.

It'll be a race to see who gets the first yellow each game and then suspension between Rubi and Shinnie then!!

    Looking forward to kick off.
Can see us scoring lots of goals this season, but may take few games for defence to gel, that is a bit of a worry.
