Thread: Pars

Personally think we are 3 players light still, need another striker in the door to support Moult or have the ability to change things up a bit. Looking at that bench it’s hard to see how we can change a game especially in this hustle and bustle league where teams will be physical far to many young lads for me built like school boys.

Is that right? I’d imagine a few premiership attendances this weekend will be a fair bit below that.

Yep. We lacked physicality in the top league too.
Think we'll add at least one in, not sure if JG is looking at midfield or striker. We need both tbh.

Strange selection by Goodwin. Grimshaw is a better RB than Freeman. Meekison isn't any worse than Grimshaw in the middle. We ended the game how we should've started it, in those positions.

Totally agree. Freeman shld be last resort for RB and as long as Grimshaw can play he shld be RB.

We were bit flat today. Just seemed to huff and puff without really looking like scoring. Creativity intensity desire and movement form Friday were all missing.

Cracking finish though and the attempt he had before that when he chipped it over the player and cracked it just past the post was mental.

No idea what they are trying to achieve with this passing between the keeper and 2 centre half’s. For this to work you need a good mid that is able to take ball under pressure, get forward or play it out to the flanks sharp. We definitely never looked capable of doing that today.

It's not exactly Grimshaws fault. I doubt he's spitting the dummy because he's playing RB.

All credit to young Mathew Cudjoe. He worked hard, never gave up, always looked the most likely to score. He's repaying the manager's confidence in him, that's 2 goals in 2 games now.

Regarding players coming in, as long as Fotheringham and Middleton are at the club I doubt we'll bring in a winger. More likely a midfielder and/or striker.
