She’ll have to change it. We were outplayed first half. The better team are winning. Big big error by Lucy Bronze losing the ball in the middle of the pitch. She had options but just kept going. It was obvious what was going to happen.

Hopefully we’ll get back in it second half.

Two changes announced by England for 2nd half.

Good to see a manager not afraid to make early changes, better so far second half for England

Just sat through most of that. Sad to say they were crap. Bottled it. Choked..lol that’s what the media would be throwing at the men. Sorry but people were saying they were already champions in the media. Constantly comparing it to the men ffs.
How many flags on cars have you seen. Ah well come on Everton

The changes made at half time and Mary Earp's penalty save inspired a better performance second half but whilst no doubting the Lionesses' commitment, to be fair, Spain were the better team. Possession-as we all know-isnt everything but Spain managed to keep the ball and prevent England from creating chances whilst being able to consistently break well themselves. Their midfield was especially good.

Oh well, at least the England ladies team have something they can continue to build on and I'm sure the Lionesses will have future opportunities.

Better team won on the day, quicker to the ball, quality in possession and closed us down when we had it limiting our chances. Fair play to the ladies tho, 2 back to back finals.

Hadn’t lost in 48 matches only once to Australia in a friendly. This was a big win for Spain considering they also lost to England in the European final. Big revenge match for them.

Our women remind me of our men in the 80’s and 90’s and up to recent years……..it all seems to be about physicality, we have a few hefty looking women.

The Spanish seem to be lighter and technically way better than our present lot in the way the Spanish men were with Xabi and Iniesta when they dominated.

We need to find more athletic women with technical ability like we have in the men’s England team now.

I do wonder though why the female game attracts so many lesbians?

I wonder if it’s based around higher testosterone levels in a lot of gay women?

I’d be interested if anyone with a medical background had an answer?

It’s the same in ladies cricket and rugby, it’s predominantly gay women.

It's going to be a paella tonight washed down with a glass of sangria!
