    Everton

Not long ago they were easily a top 8 Premier team. This season looks like being another try to stay up by the skin of your teeth season. I find the Premier league a joke. Nobody can nail down anything for certain except the few at the top. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Wolves and Everton in the championship next season.

It's going to be hard for us next season in the top flight. COYB

I find the CV whole “Financial Fair Play” situation a complete joke.

Chelsea can spend a billion because of their size etc but teams like Wolves have had to ditch players because they have “overspent” whilst having spent nothing like the big boys.

    It is ludicrous.

Indeed Mick, I read that Chelsea are able to do it as they are paying like we did over long instalments.

Also flabergasted that Man Citeh haven't been made an example with what they have done too, but seem to be getting away with it!

Part of me wondered whether things might even out if ladies footy took off, agreeing with the idea of salary caps etc as per NFL but can never see it happening.

Football is a sad place for many of us!

The rot set in with the advent of the Premier League and Sky’s involvement. Far too many plastic ‘fans’ around the World willing to pay through the nose for football. The amount of money swilling around the game is obscene, I don’t really want my money going towards the crazy wages of some of the foreign mercenaries, most of whom, I believe, don’t give sh!t about clubs or supporters.

Quite right Ketts. It all changed then. The tail now wags the dog.
