Just imagine what professional football would be like during the transition. Or if the wacko Scottish Government did their usual and banned it, to be different, while the rest of the world didn't. The European game would be a right laugh.

That is why they had a ‘dander for Frankie’ around the pitch at Tannadice. Shona Robison was going to get it sorted but like every Scottish MSP as soon as they were elected a Scottish Government minister they suddenly suffered from selective memory and conveniently forgot what they said they would do.

From memory she was fobbed off by Scottish Government ministers about bringing the age limit down but after Frank Kopel died there was no more talk about it.

    Yep.

But when some other bugger pays for it it seems better than free.....and that's what keeps the "freebies" coming.

You'd think the way council tax bandings E to H are getting treated would cause a backlash but as long as there's more benificaries than screwed it will continue.

Our house is Band E and I am furious about the left wing SNP controlled Scottish Government ‘ripping off’ people who have tried to better themselves by increasing the council tax bandings in groups E to H by imposing a surcharge.
They should get the local authorities throughout Scotland ‘sorted out’ and get rid of all the incompetent employees starting from the top down. This also includes incompetent and lazy councillors.

It is wrong that someone aged 64 does not qualify for free personal care but as soon as they turn 65 they qualify. The Scottish Government are happy to pour methadone down the throats of junkies but they are not interested in people under 65 who have paid their taxes and are now in need of assistance because they require carers.

There is no free personal care in Scotland whether your over 65 or not, what you mean is when you turn 65 someone else has to pay it for you. Carers will still charge when you reach 65 they'll simply charge the tax payer instead.
