Without thinking, you could be forgiven for jumping to the conclusion that this should be an easy 3 points for Derby. In fact, they are just one place behind us on goal difference. 2-1 Derby.

Hopefully much better than we managed against the Oxbridge counterparts last month...a horribly tense 2-1 home win.

And so the disappointment continues. Unlucky or something more serious? We currently have the fifth best away record and the sixth worst home record in L1. So much for the ‘advantage’ of playing in front of the league’s biggest stadium and crowds...just one home league win all season.
What’s the cause...do visitors, used to playing in front of far fewer fans, raise their game...or our lot actually intimidated by the ‘weight’ of home support and expectation?

Honestly thought when we started we would win at a canter, so many chances i thought we would get on the end of one, as he game went on in the 2nd half i became convinced they would snatch it and the end.

Its a very poor home record and needs sorting. Need more from the likes of NML i feel Fozzy was more of a threat attacking than NML was.

The minutes applause was something ive never seen before where players and officials stopped and took part too. And the Cambridge fans, well done to them.

Im personally not happy about the game against Charlton being called off, we are surely only bringing fixtures congestion on our selves later on.
