On another note, Alan Hardy sure can pick them! Turns out he sold Ilkeston to this chap and tried to sell us to that fraudster Alex May or whatever his name was, is he some kind of magnet to these types?
Just been announced via a club statement, Owner David Hilton has withdrawn all funding and looking for a way out of the club.
After Saturdays game they will then play their home games at Gainsborough Trinity.
Feel sorry for them season ticket holders having to travel now I fear that Scunny are next to go to the wall.

Amazing how often the phrase "moving forward" is used for a poor club that is clearly only moving downwards.

Turns out Gainsborough didn't have a clue that S****horpe were deciding to play at their ground for the rest of the season, it's a right shambolic state of affairs...

You couldn't make this chit up if you were a pro writer on a long running soap. I feel for em, I really do..

The club Owner and Chairman has recently notified the Board of Directors of his decision to withdraw his funding from the club moving forward.

He has also notified them that he feels his position at the club is untenable, and is actively seeking a way out. Based on this information, both Ian Dawson and Tahina Akther have decided to resign from their positions with immediate affect.

We can confirm that numerous parties have made contact with the club with a view to taking over, but faced with stadium issues, numerous litigation proceedings and winding up petitions no potential purchasers are looking to move forward. This includes the consortium of local business people and supporters.

The Chairman and remaining board members have now set out a plan in order to very quickly make the club sustainable.

An outside company will be bought in to work closely with the club's creditors to try and ensure all are paid in a timely and professional manner.

The club will vacate Glanford Park after the Brackley Town fixture and fulfill the season's fixtures across at Gainsborough Trinity. This is not a day-to-day cost cutting exercise. This is due to Coolsilk refusing to engage with the club and demanding vacant possession before they will begin to do so.
This is also due to the risk the club faces of being liable for hundreds of thousands of pounds in legal fees and back dated market rent, along with significant monthly legal costs of our own that will certainly impact any attempts to create sustainability. In any case, Coolsilk own the property and will undoubtedly get possession back at some point, and therefore it is no longer viable without the financial support of the Chairman to put the club at risk with such a gamble to merely guarantee a few extra months at the stadium.

The club can confirm that Chairman David Hilton is under investigation by the FA for matters that were reported to them by The Athletic prior to releasing their article. Documentation is being provided to the FA in order to evidence the validity of his ownership rights and expect it to be concluded imminently.

Finally, numerous fake club statements and messages have been circulating in recent days. We can confirm that no investigation is currently taking place to our knowledge and that all of the material is completely fake. We are appalled by its content.

Moving forward, the club can progress and challenge for promotion as originally planned. The playing side can be left relatively untouched and the debts cleared, but it will require supporters, sponsors and the community to be patient and continue to support the club the way they have done over the last few months.

Falls in attendances will undoubtedly mean further cuts and this will inevitably impact the playing squad and promotion aims.

We hope that the support continues regardless of how uncomfortable some of the decisions feel or the inconvenience those decisions will cause.

Just when you thought you'd hit rock bottom.....

Gainsborough Trinity FC are aware of a statement issued today by S****horpe United. This statement was issued without the knowledge or consent of Gainsborough Trinity. Whilst the club has always been clear that any requests from S****horpe United to play fixtures at the KAL Group Stadium would be considered, this would always have to be done by due process which would involve both clubs and the ground owner.

The local SAG (Safety Advisory Group), Police and local authority would also need to issue the appropriate safety certificates, which are not currently in place.

It seems all S/T sales, kit sales and membership of the 1899 club, (Punters agreed to pay £1,899 for a long term S/T, reserved parking and other benefits) were all cash transactions only. I wonder why?

I think the S****horpe statement is just a wishlist. If Gainsborough don't know about it, I doubt the league or FA know either. Where does this also leave season ticket holders who presumably bought their tickets and seats based on playing at their current stadium, do they get a refund if they don't want to go to Gainsborough? In legal terms, I reckon a refund is in order as I doubt their is a stipulation saying if they move ground mid season they go where they're given.

And if it was so easy to get the club operating without a benefactor, why didn't they do it before?

It was obvious this was going to happen tbh. There's a reason i called him Alan Hardy 2.0 on here months ago. There were so many red flags during the takeover process. The first was when he was getting S****horpe fans to abuse Peter Swann online (hardly Professional) Hilton then promised he would purchase Glanford Park.Prior to the takeover a deal with Swann for the ground was agreed. Hilton then at the last minute tried to change the deal, which is why Swann was threatening to kick them out. After that some of their fans started to have doubts about Hilton, and began to question his motives. He then proceeded to make several fake accounts on Twitter and Facebook (sound familiar) abusing S****horpe fans.

They call him Mr Wham on iron bru. An amalgamation of all the (known), surnames he's ever used, ie: White, Hilton, Anderson & Mellors. There were other things as well. his promise to keep the junior teams, (which he didn't) and his fail-safe agreement that he had with GT, to play there if the worst came to the worst, (which he never made). What I really don't understand is why these "owners" get involved with clubs when they've barely a pot to p155 in? You're not gonna make any money from the deal and all you are gonna get is grief? At least Hardy had money, even if he did blow it rather unwisely.
