    O/T:- S****horpe

So apparently S****horpe's owner has 4 different names and has served time according to the Athletic. This has seemingly been confirmed by the man himself on S****horpe's official Twitter feed. How screwed are they now?

On another note, Alan Hardy sure can pick them! Turns out he sold Ilkeston to this chap and tried to sell us to that fraudster Alex May or whatever his name was, is he some kind of magnet to these types?

Fair play to the bloke. Tell it like it is, get it all out there. "Judge not less ye be judged" as my old Mum used to say.

Disagree. Should have listened to the advice not to do it but sounds like a bloke who won't take advice from anybody.

Lots more he could have done if he wanted to right wrongs other than get into the murky world of football ownership. Always easy to sound sorry when caught out.

I wouldn't say a magnet, but he clearly associates with some interesting people!

    Poor Scunny.

Just in case anyone else can't read the full Athletic article, I've archived it here:

A bit like us with Hardy?

Is it better the Devil you know, or is it better to wipe the slate clean and start again in The Abacus Lighting Central Midlands Div 3 as a fan owned club?

For us, Hardy left us in equal amounts of doo-doo when he left as when he arrived, so no favours there and by the sounds of it, the man with many names is possibly looking for a way out? Sad really.....

As much as I have disdain for Hardy, one thing I believe he was at least legit and to a fair extent wanted the best for Notts, unfortunately that stood behind his ego and total ineptitude at running a football club.

All said that was a honest from the heart podcast, maybe he regrets what he has done in the past, maybe he is uttering soundbites to hide what pie his fingers are in in any ongoing deals or dealings, i was half expecting Rodwells name to crop up.
What he did say is the epitome of the state that this country is in : "I was given a 2 year gaol sentence, and was released after 9 months", that just sums up the system we have, no consequences so rinse and repeat.
We dodged a bullet there, with no thanks to Alan Hardy,as it* now happens we have the finest, honest, most decent owners that any club could wish for, long may it continue.

It's a fact that Alan Hardy did eventually sell the club to the Reedtz Brothers and not to the dubious other names (or fake names) who were circling. We'll never know for sure whether Hardy's decision was purely about the best deal for him, or whether he did feel the Reedtz Brothers were the best and most genuine owners to take Notts forward. Either way, thank God that deal got done!
