O/T Mega Poptastic Pop Quiz (47)

As International Break boredom has now set in, let's relieve it with yet another edition of the pop quiz. These are right in the wheelhouse of most MMadsters and you hardly need a clue to what year they are from but here's one anyway.

If it wasn't for events on January 1st of this year we would never have had to suffer Brexit. The FA Cup was won by a team which included two players that are written into Millers' folklore. Disasters at Lofthouse and Markham Collieries see a total of 25 miners lose their lives. In music The Dark Side of the Moon was pressed into vinyl and in Odeons around England young men were enjoying the naked women in the double bill of Don't Look Now and The Whicker Man.

As usual title and the artists who had the hit in the year in question please. Limit 5 entries per poster to start with (if you are going for 5 please try and put them all in one reply). 2nd dibs allowed after 6am Wednesday. NO GOOGLING PLEASE. Pull the answers from the depths of your brain.

All correct as I'm feeling generous over the fact that I'm sure you mean 39 and not 29. It would actually be funny if he did sing 29
