Loanees in the Lowlands - doing the damage!

It all bodes well for the two lads we've got on loan out in the land of Ned.

Garang Kuol curled a scorcher into the top corner from outside of the box

Yakubu Mintah's cheeky left foot volley inside the box see the young man continuing his excellent form for Feyenoord.

Looking forward to them both coming back into the first team, both will be considered 'Home Grown' and will qualify for the HG quota of players required for the UCL.

Delighted that we have the likes of Ashworth shaping the club for the future. It's excellent to know we have serious professionals doing the best for our old famous club!

    Long may it continue.

    HOWAY THE BOARD!

Much better for Kuol this time round. A good season for both these lads and you'd think they'll be back with us in the summer.

I am really looking forward to seeing these two soon, hope we don’t have to wait too long.

You wouldn't think it would be more than a season? They're both currently 19 so, if they're good enough, you'd expect 2 twenty year olds, as they will be then, to be involved in the squad.

Looks like Shola has pulled out some decent loan deals this time.

Dutch league to be fair is perfect for us and them, also working for their teams well as well.

The destination clubs have more an 'Ashworth Whiff' about them TBH. Shola is the day-to-day manager, making sure they are settled in and give feedback progress reports. The placement seems to be more network driven, more of Ashworths reach and connections.

Minteh is in the starting eleven of the Dutch champions' side and doing well. If he wasn't owned by us, he would already be linked with top/sub-top clubs in the bigger leagues of Europe at this stage. Very excited about him.

Joe Kinnear would be busy eating a Yohan Kebab with Steve Bruce.
