    U 19’s

Currently watching them being totally outclassed by Milan .34 mins losing 3 nil. Instead of boys v boys it’s men v boys. I realise it will take time to build a strong academy but from what I’ve seen so far, there are no potential Peter Beardsley’s regrettably.

U19's totally outclassed and beaten 4-0

Milan's lads were a different quality altogether. Our lot only had two shots on target all game.

Aye not really a surprise sadly.

It'll take time to get our academy up to scratch, we've made some good and smart additions but Milan's is about 5-10 years ahead of ours.

Yes, it'll take at least a couple of seasons to get things on an even keel even with the resources of the backroom staff available.

Things have been left to rot for too long under the fat slob.

Aye but we have to remember that Milan like all the UCL teams our young Magz will face have had dedicated academies focused on securing and developing the worlds best youth talent.

Imagine what it's like for those young Geordie lads who are in that squad, 3 yrs ago, hoped to make the EPL/first team. Now thrust into European Competition, the wealth of experience that they will gain is priceless.

I just have this feelgood buzz about everything that is going on at the club right now.

It's not a false dawn! I remember the original excitement when Ashley took over. we thought it was gonna be this. Unfortunately we all know how painful that that little diversion turned out to be.

Kind like Christmas eve every day right now!
