AARON LEYA ISEKA

Barnsley Football Club can announce Aaron Leya Iseka has joined Israeli outfit Hadera Hapoel on loan until the end of the season.
The deal includes a break clause for January 2024.
The 24-year-old has featured 27 times for the Reds since joining in August 2021, netting three times.

Khaled El-Ahmad, Barnsley FC Chief Executive Officer, commented on the deal: “We’d like to wish Aaron the best of luck during his loan spell.
“It is a deal we feel is best for all parties at this stage and we will assess the situation once Aaron’s loan spell is complete.”

The unanswered question is, "Who is paying Iseka's £7K a week wages ?" Going on loan doesn't necessarily mean he is off the payroll. He hasn't gone to a big club so we could be paying anything from 0% to 100% of his wages.
Just like when Tedic was offloaded here by Man City. He was on £13K a week and we were never told how much, if anything, we contributed to his wages.
