    CabbageHeed compares himself to Rafa

Claims his remit was to just keep us up.

Look at the players he was allowed to bring in and sign, and the money he had as opposed to Rafa.

If the positions had been reversed Rafa would have had success here.

Bruce's interview with Simon Jordan. Truly a pair of CabbageHeeds.

You’d be hard pushed to find two bigger opposites as football managers or personalities. Chalk and cheese.

Rafa was good for the club and for the fanbase.... his football, however.... was shocking..

Lets not forget.. he got us relegated

He only got us relegated because Fatso wouldn't give him the backing he gave Bruce.

I think that’s a bit unfair. He had 6 games at the end of the season wasn’t it? Our results improved under him but just not enough.
I agree his football was not pretty.

    Where’s he managing now Rafa?

Similar to Shearers eight games. People expect miracles on a string because a big name is brought in to create salvation.

Neither Shearer or Rafa stood a chance, particularly with Fatso's "help".

I assume that's a rhetorical question. No comparison. Fatso is is more than twice as wealthy as he was when he took us over, but is he twice as good a man for all his achievements, or are his minions twice as well off over the period. I seriously doubt it.

Yep. It was those 6 games that did it, the other 32 had no bearing on it what so ever.

    *was the consensus on RTG*
