Sporting institutions somehow feel they have the right to be neutral and I understand this to some degree.

Individuals and countries often used sport to protest and I understand this also.

But we are talking about a regime that proclaims itself as the enemy of the west.

Anyone on this board ever actually check out what the Kremlin state-controlled news channels are feeding their public every night? You won’t see it on the UK based news because it’s so vile.

Nuke the west, USA and the West are all Anglo-Saxon satanic Nazis. Kids school curriculums now includes small arms training. Only this week the kremlin stated that a permanent state of war should exist, and that’s normal. All previous USSR lands need to be returned.
Don’t be fooled in thinking that its just a minority of the population that want the war and Putin it’s not.

Don’t be fooled that its just one man, its not, in fact Putin is seen as soft by many in the Kremlin.

Those in the know say that maybe only 10-20 % oppose the war. Then as many 40 % are very pro war. The other 40% do as they are told but are more than ok with the war.

In my opinion, there should be no Russians in any sport, anywhere in the World, no exceptions.

Is North African within Europe! No - so we will leave it there!

Are you watching the celebrity race across the world tonight! Good viewing and you will see Africa.
Comical Alan. It was you who took it off post.

I never fell out with Steve, I simply misunderstood what he’d posted and I apologized for that and, like any good reasonable person, Steve accepted that and, if I’m not mistaken, he actually said there was no need to apologize.

I am not prepared to discuss Steve publicly as I have no issue with him and to do so is unfair to him other than to say, if Steve did have and issue with me, I would welcome a personal post from him so we can alleviate any problems.

As I indicated previously, let’s leave this here and let the sentiment of the original topic continue, rather than make it personal.

You sound vexed Al. However, you have now called me a Pis$ tacking Pr/ck, (see above) gay, (in previous posts) and accused me of being another poster (Viaduct) oh and a watcher along with many other disgusting names. Yet you’re upset that I call you Alan. . You couldn’t make it up Al.

If you dislike my posts, take your own advice and don’t respond. It is that simple. Practice what you preach Al, as Paul Simon would call you.

It is nice to see the English and Swedish FA’s are leading by example.

In short, the English FA has said it will not allow England teams to play Russia and the Swedish FA has said they will not entertain a Russian team when the women’s u17’s take place in Sweden in May next year.

    Hopefully others will follow.
