If we are honest we could have been 3-0 down at HT but it is a typical Russel team, lots of tip tap and not much end product. What a difference it makes having a real CB there in Hall also I thought Peltier was outstanding. Great goal by Hugill and the best bit of the match was in injury time his dive to win a foul near the touch line. I think dropping him was a clever decision, also thought Kelly put a real shift in when he came on and agree with the comments about Appiah. Very happy that we showed real fight and desire against a big club, we now need to use the two weeks to get some more fit and build on that.
    Not Hughbill today then?

Can’t help having a dig at another poster can you? Pathetic, grow up.
I don’t use that term, the one I used was referring to the style of football played at home, the long ball to a loan striker, and as I said on a previous post it is a reference to the style of football not the player. I am still not a fan of his, but I am quite happy to be proven wrong, if he scores goals and plays like he can and not fighting all the time. I don’t want any Rotherham player to fail, or any manager, the club comes first. That doesn’t mean I won’t comment on a discussion board, that is the purpose of the board.

If we have any chance of keeping him, then in January we have to be in contention of staying up, if it looks like we are going down then expect TS may cash in. Though can't see him being here next year anyway if he has any ambition on playing for Sweden he needs to playing top flight somewhere.

Great credit to MT - identified the problem and fixed it early. That should give him some confidence. Victor was absolutely immense - he must be worth a fortune! Hugill and Kelly up front put pressure on their defence and we were close to a winner with Rathbone and Appiah coming close. Massively unexpected but very gratefully received!!

His performance today has been acknowledged by some on the Southampton forum. He's certainly building a reputation that's for sure.

Did you go?. I watched it and Fred had a good game for the time he was in the action. It was a great result against a full on Southampton eleven.

That's Brin. I think they call it "I have the power these days". Shake my head at his comment.
