    It’s coming home

The UK and the Republic of Ireland are set to host Euro 2028 - should be fun for those of us who like to go to international tournaments - and assuming we can avoid the disgrace of the Euro 2021 final this time.

    3. Tottenham Hotspur Stadium (London) (62,322)

    4. Etihad Stadium (Manchester) (61,000)

    5. Everton Stadium (Liverpool) (52,679)

    6. St James' Park (Newcastle) (52,305)

    7. Villa Park (Birmingham) (52,190)

    8. Hampden Park (Glasgow) (52,032)

Why not West Ham’s ground and I assume Old Trafford is not included because it needs up dating though Hampden Park is a bit run down and OT does hold 75,000?

I'm also surprised they chose Goodison Park, which is one of the oldest-looking grounds in the Prem. Is Anfield not included because of the planned expansions?

The Everton stadium quoted is their new ground, yet to be built, not Goodson, which would be unsuitable as you say.

Oh I had no idea they were building a new stadium. Shows how out of touch I am

    This is the new ground:

No surprise they’ve chosen Spurs’ ground as it’s probably the best in the country right now in terms of facilities. Old Trafford is suffering from years of neglect with its famously leaky roofs, which is definitively not what you want in a place like Manchester.

A field not included due to the size of the pitch, it's too small.

I think Old Trafford gets the award of "ugliest ground in the UK" with ease. Surprised they've not included Wet Spam's stadium.
