    Investment

Seems to have gone under the radar a bit, but a couple of weeks ago £88 million was paid for one single share of Calder Vale Holdings Limited. Who put this money in, no one knows, to what use it will be put, no one knows. Well of course Mr Pace knows, but he's not saying.

I expect we'll know in the January window whether any is earmarked for Vinni to use in the transfer market.

I read on a TV Sports Channel here in Corralejo that a Consortium headed up by JJ had pumped in a large investment from the US. No idea if it’s true but sounds feasible.

I would think it's also a possibility that ALK have sold, or are in the process of selling, half the club to some other entity or individual, in which case it's unlikely Vinni will see any of this money, ALK will be the beneficiaries. We'll see in January.

Do you think Kompany will be given even more money come January?? That’s financial suicide imo. If we were mid table then maybe it would make sense… if we are at the bottom we would have to make some serious signings that would ensure that we wouldn’t go down… and I can’t see us doing that.

Alarm bells are ringing here in Corralejo.

Way things are going I doubt Vinnie will be here come January to spend the clubs money. IMHO he has wasted enough

I agree ballcock but it is worth remembering that we are only one point from safety and may well be out of the relegation zone come the weekend

I think Pace will give him more time, they have a long term plan, VK getting them to the Prem 2 years early was a bonus and if we get relegated they will have learnt by his mistake of making too many changes.

I would not be too bothered about relegation.Another thumping season in the Championship would harden up this young squad and we get 12 months without VAR and Gary Lineker & Co.-what is not to like?
