Vince on talksport right now, says he now wants somebody with L1/L2 experience, meeting half a dozen candidates today and tomorrow and hopes to appoint somebody in the next few days.
Vince is just another Alan Hardy really, using a football club to boost his own profile and feed his own ego. Forest Green Rovers are not, and never will be, a viable, sustainable EFL club and that's the fact of the matter.

Played in the Prem… his ability to coach or play won’t be impacted by his time served. Not sure of the relevance. Would you have Lee Hughes as manager if he was a bright coach? Or does the fact he spent time in prison for a very significant crime stop that?
My point was at those disappointed with Maynard who said that players who have played at a good level won’t listen to him. What could he possibly teach them?
How to use their undoubted skills to fit his method of playing. A conducter doesn't play the oboe or the violin, he directs those that can, that's the skill set. His direction will earn him respect if he gets the players onside, he doesn't have to have played at a level he just needs to be good at implementing his plan.
😂.
Up here Derek Adams manager of Ross County recently had a problem engaging mouth and brain together sensibly when suggesting his old players at Morecambe were significantly better than his new ones at Ross. I can understand Troy Deeney as an inexperienced manager being blunt with his team but was really surprised that the experienced Adams should make such comments.
Michael Appleton has gone at Charlton !!
