    Annan v Queens

Massive game this weekend not only for the under pressure manager Marvin Bartley but Queens. We desperately need to stop this horrendous run of 5 league defeats in a row.
Just watched the Bartley’s interview and despite yet another home defeat you seemed rather upbeat after a better performance and he’s hoping that 5 players will be came this weekend. The two cup tied lads and three from injury. Hopefully Gibbo is fit for this after going off against Arbroath.
Weather forecast isn’t great and Annan have allocated not many seats for our supporters.

Agreed it is a massive game. I do hope that Marvin and the squad do not under estimate the enormity of the task.
The weather from Wednesday looks appalling.........hopefully this is not an omen.

We don't just need to beat Annan on Saturday but we have to go on an unbeaten run, preferably by winning rather than drawing games, to get our season back on track, before it is too late.

Anything apart from a loss but preferably a win.

it 'should be' a win Aloreburn, - but this is a derby and the form book is out of the window........thank God, - as Queens' form has been diabolical.

I'll be quite happy with a much improved performance and a draw to be honest..................easily pleased eh!

Unusually, - I find myself agreeing with Francis in the Arbroath link, - and I think it important to add it here too:

I find myself agreeing wholeheartedly with Francis,- who has a complete grasp of the situation with regards to Marvin's tenure.

However, I think we should have faith in the manager, - even if the result against Annan is not favourable. There is no point whatsoever in throwing the baby out with the bathwater, - only to discover that we have exactly the same water.

The Annan game will be psychologically very difficult for players and fans to cope with, - and I would like to stress once again that this derby could throw up a host of permutations, -many of which will not be approved of by QOS fans.

Whatever happens tomorrow, - we need to 'keep the heid'................for now.

Well it was a win. We were okay first half but only made a couple of chances in a backs to the wall second half. I don't think we will be as lucky again. Tommy Goss could easy have had three himself. Our lack of control is still pretty worrying.
I thought McKechnie worked hard and Ferguson put in his best performance with a bit of skill, good movement, bought a few free kicks and helped out in defence but I thought our best were our three most experienced Todd, Ambrose and Reilly.
Annan made loads of chances they should really of took some. They do like a wee dive that actually took the heat of us.
One match unbeaten run. Onwards and upwards.
