    Please.....no sprinklers pre match or half time tomorrow night.

    I truly hope the ground staff have the foresight not to make us a laughing stock worldwide tomorrow night, by not having the sprinklers on pre match or at half time.

    They will be a deluge of rain tomorrow, never mind what's coming down today and what was dumped throughout last night.

    Let's not see another'Cardiff' fiasco and let mother nature water the playing surface herself.

    It is an automated system but, it still has to be programmed to switch on at certain times.
    Let's hope common sense prevails.

    Flooding expected, Rotherham central already diverting trains. Record levels apparently.

    Difference being is that Cardiff freak rain event was not predicted, where as today we have a weather warning.

    Does anyone know if they have closed the Forge Island flood gate?

    More importantly, have they opened the sluice gate at Canklow Meadows so that Chesterfield doesn’t flood?

    If they have can fully expect Canklow Bridge to be closed at some point today.

    10cm difference between upstream and downstream side, so not sure if that means they have closed it or not
