That is the area covered by the alert (i.e. be prepared), nearly the whole of the Don currently has an alert.
More importantly there are no current flood warnings like there is on Whiston Brook.

Difference being is that Cardiff freak rain event was not predicted, where as today we have a weather warning.

Also some work was done in the summer to aid the Cardiff situation not happening again,so it should help with this prolonged weather too.
