    That is the area covered by the alert (i.e. be prepared), nearly the whole of the Don currently has an alert.
    More importantly there are no current flood warnings like there is on Whiston Brook.

    Also some work was done in the summer to aid the Cardiff situation not happening again,so it should help with this prolonged weather too.

    And at least we know the 4 million pound canal floodgate is in working order…it’s been lowered into action for the first real time..!..
