    Aberdeen v PAOK

Weather permitting, fitba is back on Thursday at 8pm.

PAOK are not a bad team; they were quarter finalists in the Europa Conference League two seasons ago and are one of the top teams in Greece. In 2019, they won the Greek double (league and cup) without losing a single game. They are currently second in the Greek Super League.

They knocked Hearts out of the Conference League this season, winning 2-1 at the pink bus shelter and 4-0 in Greece.

PAOK stands for Panthessaloníkios Athlitikós Ómilos Konstadinoupolitón. If their fans start the "give us a P!" chant in the first half, they might get it finished by noon the next day.

Ha ha aye that be a long chant that one. Never knew that's what it was shortened from. Suppose I would have if I'd looked it up. Undoubtedly a good side but we have to be looking at getting in about them from the start and winning this one. A big ask but let's give it a go.

They looked bloody good at Tynecastle.
We’ll have our work cut out to win this one.

We're taking the points from this game on Thursday.

Our last home game for a month too!

Very disappointing ticket sales for this one. Well from the home support anyway. Over 1000 noisy Greeks attending.

I can't help but think we got the pricing wrong in the current economic environment. Our home prices were anywhere between 50% to 100% more expensive than the other three teams are charging for their home European games

That one’s down to Cormack thinking we are in the Champions League group stages and charging the fans ridiculous prices.

I thought the whole you need to buy your tickets for all 3 games by a certain date or we will sell your seats to someone else was poor too.

Something could have done on the pricing front, but can't help think this game being on during the tattie holidays is having an impact on ticket sales.

A lot of folk are away this time of year.

Of course ,our indifferent form could be keeping the fairweather supporters away.
