That's a hard one Zip, but for my mind if you split them into a group with existing talent, and those previously possible no hopers, I would go for either Murphy or Longstaff. Very hard to put a blade of grass between the two of them.
Loads of candidates.
Jacob Murphy is the most recent candidate, From below average Chimpo standard under Bruce to possibly startinf-and deservedly so-in the Champions League,
Jamaal Lascelles-from sub Mike Williamson levels to helping us beat PSG 4-1
Sean Longstaff-almost ruined by Bruce to almost undroppable now
Joelinton-well, frankly, nothing really need to be said. I was going to choose Longstaff but, just thinking about Joelinton under Bruce (yes, he's the common theme) compared with the midfield behemoth we have now...aye, I think it's big Joe.
Miggy has hugely improved, too, and he was even getting a tune out of Krafth before that clogger cunt from Tranmere put him out for, well, it's over a year now.
Gordon is fulfilling the potential that was being stymmied at Everton and even Schar has moved up to previously unimaginable levels with the way he contributes in attack as well as becoming a better defender.
So...who is it for you?

got to be Lintoni and Longstaffio for my money
Big Joe, hands down. Couldn’t trap a bag of cement to one of the best midfielders we’ve ever had. Phenomenal.
Just thinking those he hasn't visibly improved: Lewis, Manquillo, Kraft? Injuries may have been a factor with some.
So many of these players were Bruced and battered when Eddie came.
Can't honestly think of a similar example in modern football since Ranieri and Leicester where a coach has taken sub-par players and turned them into Mbappé-beating machines.
For me it's Joe Linton. when Eddie arrived i was surprised to see Joe in his first team lineup, however i remember him saying that he had saw something in him from the off and what an inspiration that has become.
For me it’s Longstaff, so far this season anyway… He’s proved to be the one player we miss from the team, and we lose something when he’s not in it.
Says a lot about our strength in depth in other positions mind that we don’t really miss any one player
I'd go for Big Joe as well.
But there are way to many honourable mentions.
Joelinton with Murphy a close second.
