    1st Half.
    Frustrating.
    Again !!!
    We are beating ourselves.
As per - at home the opposition doesn’t need to do much - they just need to play steady away and wait for Barnsley to make mistakes and present them with opportunities.

Positives are that in patches we are moving the ball quicker going forward.
Although Kane is doing his best to slow things down and play safe.
Kane again - is playing for Kane.
On 19 minutes Russell provides an example of why he is quality.
    Is Phillips playing FGS !?!
If he is then he needs dragging off - put Glavin on - or even Fabulous Fabio.
All in all …….. it’s poor.
You can see the quality - but it isn’t a team performance.

See what we are made of in this second half and see if Collins can point out some solutions .

Probably don't deserve to be losing but neither are we deserving of the lead .

Final ball letting us down on a number of occasions isn't helping .

Plus Kane proper unlucky on two occasions from outside the box .

Thinking one of those frustrating afternoons , hopefully not .

Well done , Kane's the best player on the park in that first half .

    It's a vendetta isn't it ??

    2nd Half.
As per - the effort is there - but so are chickens running about without a head.
    It’s poor poor poor.
This HC just hasn’t got it.
    Frustrating and deeply disappointing.

A free kick by Cadden just outside the box on 57 minutes compared to the quality of Fleetwoods goal for their 2nd.
    Well done Fleetwood.

    Vendetta……
a long and violent argument between people or families, in which one group tries to harm the other in order to punish them for things that happened in the past:

I would say that description is unlikely.

Alternatively it could be - he’s a skilful player - that just doesn’t fit the quick forward play of Barnsley Football Club.
He’s a Collins possession slow build up type of player.

The whole performance against Fleetwood can be summed up in one sentence …..
Barnsley were just not brave enough.
Why risk trying to pick out forwards running into space - when you can tap it sideways.

We were back to playing a slow tempo today, trying to hurt them.from.the wings, however Williams and Cotter were dreadful, the first touch of those 2 and Kane at times was awful.
Poor passing from the whole team, poor deliveries from Cadden and Russell ambling around Midfield just wasn't good enough.
Cole and Mcatee ran their socks off today.
The game changed when O'Keefe came on, he caused them lots of issues against tired.legs.
Fleetwood looked half decent though and I hope the powers that be are going to keep an eye on Quitirna their goal scorer cos he looks a player.
For me a draw was a fair result.

Will somebody try to convince me that Phillips is a professional footballer?

Let me just start with the penalty debacle which I feel sums up the culture currently residing on Grove Street .

There was an argument between Cole and Kane on Tuesday night who was going to take it and that resurfaced this afternoon when Cole took it .

Like two schoolkids squabbling over a bag of sweets but none the less we have a management team who should have had this one sorted and that's before the first penalty was given on Tuesday night plus a captain out there on the pitch .

    It's Sunday morning stuff , unprofessional , a shambles , it really is .

If we can't sort out a penalty taker without that shenanigans going on then just how organised are we ? Or is that symbolic of the culture down there .

What you moaning about animal I hear some say ? , we scored em both didn't we ?

These things are important , the detail is important , organisation is important , like having numbers boards for the subs that actually work , like playing an FA cup tie on a Saturday afternoon when there's simply no reason not to , like not having a patchwork quilt of players who every time we make a change whether pre match or during one doesn't entail having to play a different way when we do .

The key personnel at the club , shareholders , recruitment , CEO and to a certain degree because of the above HC are winging it , nothing more and nothing less .

Frustrating afternoon , some frustrating individual performances , Cotter drives me nuts , Russell can't do two games in a week without one of the games delivering a below par performance , the bench changes nothing and hasn't from the start of the season .

Positives are that the players stuck at it , worked hard and are committed with the odd dose of individual brilliance summed up by Kane picking out O'Keefe for the equaliser , composure personified and everything of quality today went through Kane today .

The league is total shyte and we sit third which will be the card that gets played by the club's usual sycophants which isn't a dig at anybody on here .

Stendel's mob would win this league with 100 plus points .

Got to agree with the majority of that Animal.
