    I agree, Hughie, he looks like he could do with a rest. The problem is, Trippier is such a leader, he's one of those players who helps to make us greater than the sum of its parts. I certainly think Lascelles is a better player when Tripps is keeping him right.

    Absolutely and I'm sure that Trippier will always insist on playing when fit, so he's obviously hard to drop.

    I think Howe plays a weakened side like against City and focuses on Arsenal

    We'll, to be fair, we did beat City with a weakened team and they're far better than Man U.

    There's definitely hope.

    I agree. Against City we started a weakened team and brought some big guns on to win it second half.

    Based on the Wolves game, at the very least Trippier should be rested, but I trust Eddie knows more about the fitness of the players than we do. Had it been Bruce.........
