    After Horsham it's Horsley

Barnsley FC -v- Spennymoor Town 2-00pm Sunday

The second game to grace the Oakwell surface this weekend.

See build up, interviews with HC/ players etc, on Official Site.

Eleanor Dobson, Club Secretary and EDI Lead---
"Here at Oakwell we believe that the women's game should be just as valued and celebrated as the men's game"

As Nudge says we should listen to and believe what the club says.

The club are going to have to invest in the ladies team to generate enough interest in my opinion .

Start climbing the pyramid etc .

From what I'm told this level of ladies football is extremely poor .

Now rebranded as simply "Barnsley FC" to reflect their full integration into the Oakwell structure, the Women's Team are in their first season as a fifth tier club.

Go Well Jess's team and give those Spennymoor ladies a good spanking this afternoon to rise in the table.

    Barnsley FC 1 Spennymoor !

A point which consolidates the Women's mid table standing and provides the platform for a promotion push. (That's my best effort at spin on the draw )

    Go Well You Women
