Referee at today’s game against Livingston

I thought that A. Muir the referee at today’s game against Livingston was hopeless.
He awarded free kicks to Livingston when they should have been awarded to us.
Every home game we seem to have another yet useless referee in charge.
There is supposed to be a referee’s supervisor at every home game assessing the performance of the referee but nothing ever gets done about these useless referees.

The VAR decision regarding the the red card was appalling ,whether Kelly was last man or second last , made no difference.
it was a straight red card, Kelly made no attempt to play the ball, just wiped Rudden straight out.

I keep hoping that some of the ‘top flight’ referees in Scotland follow the lead of Bobby Madden who decided to move to be a referee in England because Madden thought that he was too good to be a top flight referee in Scotland.
Bobby Madden got ‘found out’ as a referee in charge of English Football League matches and retired as a referee at the end of last season, a year earlier than planned.
This will allow him to attend football matches supporting his beloved Glasgow Rangers.

I see that Don Robertson was the VAR official in charge.
He is another hopeless referee and this was another case of an incompetent referee telling another incompetent referee what to do.

Always found it amazing at the amount of games he officiated involving Sevco.

I'd like VAR to explain the difference between Kelly's reprieve and Josh's red card.

The same problem as Steven McLean being appointed to referee football matches involving Kilmarnock where his father is listed in their Hall of Fame.
Where the referee lived used to be listed at the end of match reports in the Sporting Post and other football sections of newspapers but now that is no longer done.

Why does it matter where they live?
