Looking at the big picture it's a fantastic result because it doubles the pressure on Raith. Even if they won both their games in hand they'd still be a point behind with a lower goal difference.

    Just hame......thoughts on tonight.

The goalie, Middleton, Mcmann and even though their lad Chalmers was very good in the middle of the park tonight and bossed it for decent spells I'll also include Sibbald as the only players to get pass marks tonight. So glad we got the 3 points and that's about it really and if we can play as poorly as that and grind out wins at tricky away venues like that a half dozen times or so throughout the season then eh'll be happy as fk if I'm being honest.....and again we really really need more from Watt,he really is a waste of a jersey. Slow, lazy and looks like he canny be 4rsed most of the time.......Great vlogs on YouTube though. If only we had someone to take his jersey off of him....maybe in January 🙏

What an atmosphere in that East Stand tonight! Been to quite a few games through there, and it just seemed to be a hell of a lot better than what ive seen before!

I dont really want to add anything about Tillson, but one or 2 good things in a game is nowhere near good enough. I get what people say about Mochrie being an attacking mid, but he is surely a better option than someone running about chasing the game. I dont think Glass is fast enough off the ball to be effective enough, but the 3 of Sibbald, Glass and Mochrie seemed to work better. Thought their no 8 had the run of East End Park for a far bit tonight and nobody seemed to get near him.

While we escaped with the points tonight, there are more and more mistakes coming into our defence, so hopefully some work can be put in to get the guys back in tune with each other again.

Diddy cup or Scottish cup next?

Walton had very little to do....again! What an important save down at the lads feet though. So sharp to react. Think that spurred us on a bit and gave us the momentum to go ahead and win it. Impressed by him more and more.

Really hope we can get him on a permanent deal at the end of the season. By all accounts, he's loving life on & off the park, so who knows?

Regretfully I would think he’s out of our financial reach for a permanent deal but a consecutive season long loan may not be out of the question. Great again last night - can’t do anything about the goal but the one time he’s properly called in to action is after Holt’s mistake allowing Jakubiak in and he’s sharp as a tack at the boy’s feet and saves a certain goal.

100% if we have him last season, then we don’t go down.

He was right up to the fans at full time and looked like he was loving it. Like you say he would be a great signing if we got him tied up permanently and if we do got up😇then he's the one we should be kind of breaking the bank for so hopefully the owners realise how valuable a good goalkeeper is to a team and lessons learned from last season with the crisp.

He is out of contract from Luton in the summer. Trouble is, he is going to draw admiration from others too! Would be great to keep him and surely worth a discussion at least. Just can't see it happening sadly

I don't think there would be much in it. He'll be on third choice goalkeeper wages at Luton when they were a Championship club. We're probably paying Watt more this season than Walton gets at Luton, albeit we're most likely on a different wage structure now that Asghar is gone.

He's out of contract at the end of the season, so another loan will be out the question unless Luton give him another contract. Given they signed two goalkeepers in the summer, you'd have to think that's unlikely.

Mochrie was the difference last night. Some dip of the shoulder to wrong foot the defenders.
